I didn’t take a typical path into travel.

Before co-launching DPP Travel, I spent 15 years as a middle school science teacher. That experience shaped how I work today—clear communication, strong organization, and the ability to cut through noise and focus on what actually matters.

Because let’s be honest—travel planning today is overwhelming. Endless options, conflicting advice, and no real way to know what’s worth your time or money.

My role is to simplify that.

I specialize in luxury ocean and river cruising, along with curated land experiences. Most of my clients are busy professionals and families who don’t have time to research every option—and don’t want to risk getting it wrong.

Here’s how I work:

I start with a conversation. Not just where you want to go, but how you want the trip to feel. Relaxed or active. Structured or flexible. Social or private. Those details matter more than the destination itself.

From there, I narrow the options and present what actually fits you—saving you time and decision fatigue. Once you’re booked, I manage the details, coordinate with trusted partners, and stay involved through your return home.

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all travel. And I’m not afraid to say, “That’s not the right fit for you.”

That honesty is part of the value.

Over the years, I’ve built strong relationships across the travel industry, which allows me to advocate for my clients, provide access to preferred partners, and create a smoother overall experience. Whether it’s matching you with the right cruise line or designing a seamless pre- or post-trip itinerary, every piece is intentional.

Personally, Scotland is my favorite destination—especially in the fall and winter. Fewer crowds, dramatic landscapes, and a completely different kind of luxury that’s more about atmosphere than flash. It’s a perfect example of the kind of travel I love helping clients experience.

At the end of the day, my job isn’t just to plan travel. It’s to make sure your time away is worth it.
