The trip was absolutely fantastic from start to finish.

Now, let me tell you how your services made the trip so exceptional. Every guide and driver were over the top wonderful–always on time, spoke great English, and had an incredible knowledge of the historical significance of the sights we were visiting. Our favorite guide was Gundi in Vienna, who was not only knowledgeable but so much fun to be with.  I loved that we went to some places I wouldn’t have thought about visiting, such as the oldest pharmacy in Florence, now a museum.

I’m so pleased that Siena was included in our itinerary. It was a very special place, and we had a wonderful afternoon there.

In summary, the trip was something I’ll never forget, and I cannot thank you enough for your incredible services in the planning of the trip. I’ll never be able to travel any other way again.

Our trip was fabulous and we want to thank you. Everything except the weather during our time in and around the Great Ocean Road was great. The accommodations were wonderful. Our two favorites were the Southern Ocean Lodge and The Henry James Art Hotel. The Langham Hotels in Sydney and Melbourne were also tremendous. Probably our three favorites places were Kangaroo Island, Hobart and Melbourne.

You were right we could have spent at least a week just in Tasmania. You were also right another day or two at the Southern Ocean Lodge would have been nice. Few subjects find me at a loss for words. I know since you have been to this lodge there is little I can write to describe how wonderful a place that it is. Superb! The locations of all the hotels was terrific Ena.  I could write a book, but there were so many memorable experiences. You did a great job for us.

We are back home and I wanted to thank you for all of the great work that you did for our trip. It was everything we’d hoped for and more – we didn’t want to come home! We especially appreciated how you handled all of the details – there were no problems with logistics, pickups, hotels, meals or guides. All went smoothly and according to plan.

Ena, it was the most amazing trip I could ever have imagined! I am so pleased that you suggested Backroads, and I think staying on the south island only was the best idea. Every single day was a beautiful adventure, and we will definitely use Backroads again. The guides were so knowledgeable and so accommodating, and we couldn’t have asked for more from them. We made fast friends with the other 16 travelers, and it really was a perfect experience. I hope your recent trip was lovely, as well. Thank you again for your help!

Our March trip to New Zealand and Australia was absolutely spectacular!!! Everything was spot on. You really captured the essence of our preferences and aspirations. The cities we visited were diverse and each one had its own personality and charm.  Accommodations could not have been better. There was just the right mix of preplanned activities, free time to explore and enjoy our surroundings and do some hiking at each destination.  All guides and vendors were personable and enhanced our experience. The AXUS app was great. Between the app and George’s afternoon text the travel was seamless, there was no guess work of what we would be doing or who ,where, and when would be meeting each day. It really eliminated the stress that can occur with travel. We are officially spoiled for any future travel.  Thank you both. I can’t think of anything we would change. Hi Ena, the trip was amazing.  Every day was a fantastic adventure.  We loved the hotels and all were equally terrific.  We ended up getting an upgrade at the Intercontinental in Bordeaux and that room was a beautiful spacious suite.  The guides and drivers were all great with the Bordeaux wine guide/driver being especially terrific.  The Windsor Castle guide was also exceptional. The trip overall was a trip of a lifetime and it will be hard to ever top it.  We wouldn’t have changed one thing.
