Mexico is one of my favorite places to travel because it truly has something for everyone. Beyond the sunshine, delicious food, and vibrant culture, it’s a destination that works for any kind of trip—whether it’s a romantic escape, a fun getaway with friends, a family vacation (even with multiple generations!), or a solo adventure. I also love how flexible Mexico can be for any budget. From beautiful resorts and charming boutique hotels to condos and rental homes, there are endless ways to make the experience your own.

Hawaii would easily be my number one destination if it weren’t quite so far from the Midwest! To me, there truly is no place like it. The weather is unmatched, the food is unforgettable, and the islands offer an endless variety of things to see and do. What I especially love is how each island has its own unique personality, making every visit feel like a completely new experience. A trip to Hawaii can be as adventurous as you’d like—hiking, exploring, and discovering hidden gems—or as relaxing as simply spending your days by the beach or pool, perfectly content.

Visiting the Cayman Islands—especially Grand Cayman—is always one of my favorite experiences. It’s an ideal destination for both couples and families, offering just the right balance of relaxation and activities. The crystal-clear water is perfect for swimming, with Seven Mile Beach standing out for its warm, calm waves and stunning beauty. Accommodations are plentiful and diverse, ranging from luxurious resorts to budget-friendly condos and apartments, making it easy to find the perfect fit for your style of travel.

Bora Bora is truly one of the most magical places I have ever visited. From the moment you arrive, it almost feels unreal—the brilliant turquoise water is some of the most stunning you will ever see. The resorts are among the most luxurious I’ve experienced, and there is nothing quite like staying in an overwater bungalow, watching stingrays glide beneath you from your deck, or peering through the glass floor in your living room. While many of the resorts are family-friendly, I especially recommend Bora Bora for couples, honeymooners, or babymooners. It’s the kind of destination that feels like a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
